POPULAR QUESTIONS

We would be more than happy to help you select materials that are needed for remodeling work.

Yes, we do offer services for commercial buildings.

Cabinets account for about half the total cost of the project and will have the greatest impact on your budget. They range in price considerably based on quality, the type of material they are made of, and whether they are stock (ready-made in specific sizes) or custom (produced specifically for your kitchen in whatever sizes are needed). The material you choose for surfaces including counters, backsplashes, and floors can also account for variations in price. Other key elements that factor into the equation are talent and workmanship. In the remodeling business, you tend to get what you pay for. An accomplished designer, skilled sub-tradesmen, and expert installation crew may cost more. But you’ll appreciate their ability every time you use your kitchen.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS
I hired Home Design, Inc. to do a complete remodel of my kitchen in a 1954 home. The layout was original but we wanted to move some appliances around and take it down to the studs. John’s crew was amazing, they were fast and efficient and did very good work. The price was competitive and the timeline was what we were looking for (max of 3 weeks). They completed the project in 2.5 weeks, which was amazing. They put up plastic sheeting and secured it to the walls so that the demo work didn’t get everywhere in the house and they cleaned up after themselves every day. In addition to moving appliances around (which involved gas lines moving), they knocked out 1/2 a wall and created a bar area installing an island hood and pendant lights, which is a focal point now for the kitchen. The finished product is spectacular and everyone is asking us who did it! We are already planning to have them work on another part of the house soon.

The Home Design team was very easy to work with from quote through completion of the project. Home Design was flexible with modification to the quote prior to the contract and throughout the project. When looking at the competition what I liked about Home Design was the ability to select the materials I wanted. Other kitchen re-modelers have a list of materials or restrict you to different tiers of material before up-selling you. My project was delivered on budget, on spec, and on time! What more could you ask for.
